FREAKS AND CREEPS – National Geographic Wild, Summer 2012
Based on Lucy’s original concept, Freaks and Creeps, sees Lucy on a mission to discover the quirky evolutionary stories behind some of the planet’s ugliest, strangest and most misunderstood creatures. She meets proboscis monkeys in Borneo, flies with vultures in South Africa and tracks down the Devil in Tasmania.
The series was co-produced by Lucy and won in the best presenter-led category at Wild Talk 2013.

Lucy is an award-winning television producer, director, writer and presenter with over twenty years experience producing high profile documentary series for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, National Geographic, SKY and PBS.
Outside of TV, Lucy’s sloth viral videos, produced by her company Pink Tree Frog productions, have been watched by tens of millions. She has worked as an executive producer at Vice producing and commissioning online shorts and award-winning feature documentaries for cinema release at BRITDOC.
MEET THE SLOTHS, DISCOVERY
Lucy’s irreverent observational documentary, MEET THE SLOTHS introduced the world to the adorable animal residents of the world’s largest sloth sanctuary. It was awarded the prestigious PANDA AWARD for most popular documentary at Wildscreen 2012 and praised for ‘its humorous style and bringing natural history programming to a wider audience’. The show rated over 6 times the normal viewing for its slot and resulted in Discovery International commissioning a 6 part ‘Meet the Sloths’ series, exec produced by Lucy, which aired summer 2013.

Lucy’s viral video’s of sloths had over 20 million views, earned Lucy the title ‘the Spielberg of sloth movies’, turned the world’s laziest animal into a global super star and helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to save them.
